Exclusive Technology

From the early days of establishment to the realization of the potential of melamine, nearly 20 years with many ups and downs,

from efforts and struggles to standing at the crossroads of choosing to continue to exchange for researching and improving

products or accepting existing technologies.

Throughout this period of relentless research effort, Moc Phat has devoted all its passion to the development of melamine coating

technology, becoming a leading unit in research and melamine coating on all materials. Through numerous improvements in

production technology, changes, and updates in the formulation, Moc Phat has marked a significant milestone in the development

stage by successfully researching the MelaminePro technology, allowing for optimal product quality and successful melamine

coating on various materials such as MDF, HDF, Particle Board (Okal), Plywood, PVC plastic sheets, and laminated wood,

providing leading quality material solutions for interior design and construction.

Moc Phat, with its exclusive MelaminePro technology, offers a variety of products with different thicknesses and over 250 different

colors for each type of material, meeting every design idea and usage needs for different cases.

A Brief Overview of Melamine

Melamine is an organic compound that is sparingly soluble in water and has high durability. Therefore, it is not only used for interior surfaces but also as a solution to increase the durability of products. However, to fully utilize this advantage of melamine, the process of melamine adhesive production plays a crucial role because each material has its own unique characteristics.

In Vietnam, melamine wood panels began to appear in the early 2000s and caused a frenzy in the furniture manufacturing industry. With superior product quality compared to other materials on the market, many melamine wood panels are imported from China, or neighboring countries such as Malaysia and Indonesia. Depending on the function, material, and color, melamine is increasingly appearing and being used more and more in the market at that time.

Furniture made from melamine wood materials appears everywhere, from household interiors such as sofas, kitchen shelves, wardrobes, dining tables to office interiors, restaurant interiors, and hotels, all made from this special industrial wood material. Melamine industrial wood is a combination of two main components: melamine surface paper and core or industrial wood panels.

The melamine surface is a decorative paper dipped in melamine adhesive, pressed tightly onto the surface of the core or industrial wood material to cover, increase durability, and protect the product from external impacts.

The core and wood panels have different characteristics depending on the material formation. Plywood has superior bending resistance compared to other industrial wood panels, MDF has good heat and water resistance, HDF has high hardness, and FB (particle board) has high mechanical strength because it is made from plantation-grown forest materials with a variety of species. All of these will bring a variety of solutions for each specialized project, but to make this combination perfect, melamine adhesive is the key.

In reality, because of the different material formations, it is not possible to use the same melamine adhesive formula for all types of cores and wood panels. To produce the best product and maximize the potential of melamine, the melamine adhesive formula must be optimized for each type of material
